Among other things it is licensed to engage in Commercial farming, Mining, Hotel and Restaurant, Tourism, Import and Export, Real Estate Development and manufacturing activities. The BDA is established with the objective of carrying out well thought and profitable business activities that have strategic relevance to the country.
BDA is a young but fast-growing business enterprise in all dimensions of its touch. The reach of the company currently operating incorporates Import-Export, Manufacturing industries, Modern Commercial Farm, Real estate development, Duty free shops and currently many more are underway to be mechanized 80,000 hectors of land. Other additional investment areas are also under thorough investment analysis for their feasibility check. BDA started the business with an initial capital of 10 million Ethiopian Birr
